Why the "New" Way of Content Marketing?


Content in your marketing mix will lay a foundation of trust, contrary to advertising only. Using content is a way of contacting potential customers without the "hard selling". Of all the marketing efforts, at least 50% should be content. It's all about attracting customers versus pushing them to purchase. Even mentioning your product or service is not appropriate in content.

Entertain and Educate
Write "around" your brand. Embed videos, share photos, add music, sprinkle in some info-graphics or slide shares.  And create interesting and entertaining content, even with lots of information around (not only about) your service or products.  Companies such as Red Bull are a great example how content can pull in your customers in a very subtle way.

Market your Content
Your content certainly needs to be publicized and needs to be optimized for Search Engines. The easiest and least expensive way is through Social Media.  To save lots of time connect all your Social Media accounts with each other.  This way one single post will show up on half a dozen sites.
